The Macomb County Board of Commissioners has presented the New Baltimore Farmers Market with a Declaration of Tribute at their October 11, 2012 meeting for their efforts in the following areas: support of local agriculture, providing access to, and education regarding healthy local foods, and reducing hunger by expanding options and access for all Macomb County residents. This tribute was presented by Commissioner Toni Moceri, Chair of the Health & Human Services Committee, and Commissioner Kathy Vosburg, District 8 (New Baltimore), and is a part of the Commission's recognition of "Food Day", which is on October 24.
