Brave Polar Bear Plungers Conquer Anchor Bay
The annual Polar Bear Plunge capped off the three-day New Baltimore Lions Club Winterfest fundraiser in downtown New Baltimore.
Late January cold and ice didn't stop Polar Bear Plungers from braving frigid Anchor Bay waters Sunday for charity.
Defying reason and comfortable body temperatures, teams of plungers eased onto the icy lake to dip into a makeshift pool for the New Baltimore Lions Club Winterfest fundraiser.
The annual event drew a large crowd that spilled onto the pier and shoreline at Burke Park.

I am honored to say I was part of Team Mello! We were a HUGE success this year because of the generosity of our friends, family and local businesses. A big thank you goes out to my other courageous plungers! Love and miss you Justin!
