City of New Baltimore Hiring Summertime Help

The city is looking to fill a number of summer positions, including several lifeguards.

 

If you're looking for a summertime job, the city of New Baltimore has a few openings to check out.

According to the city's website, jobs are available as a lifeguard, a summer camp counselor and a spring/summer recreation intern.

The lifeguard position pays between $8.50 and $10 an hour. The job starts on Memorial Day and will last throughout the summer. Hours will vary, but will range from 10 to 30-some a week.

The summer camp position pays about $8 an hour. Counselors will work weekdays, between 30 and 35 hours a week during the summer. 

The recreation intern position pays $8.55 an hour. Interns work between 30 and 35 hours a week for a 12- to 16-week stint.

My son is interested in lifeguard position. He is on the AB swim/dive team. He will be taking the lifeguard class when it starts through parks n recs, can he still apply????
