Drunken Bar Patron Grabs Women, Sends Bouncer Down Stairs in Tussle

A 24-year-old Chesterfield Township man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he allegedly groped several women and tussled with bouncers late Saturday night in Utica, police said.
Slightly before midnight, the intoxicated man grabbed several women inside Cass Bar and Grill, leading bouncers to escort him out of the establishment, according to a Utica police report.
When they were trying to lead him out, the patron became combative. As they were heading toward the stairs, the man started to push and both he and a bouncer fell down the flight of stairs, the report states.
The other bouncer was able to pull the patron off the employee and hold him there until police arrived. Neither of the staff members wanted to pursue assault charges, so the suspect was charged with disorderly conduct, police said.
When police brought the suspect to the station, he refused to exit the squad car. An officer threatened to deploy his Taser if he didn't cooperate. He then complied after two warnings and was booked at the station, police said.
