Flames Engulf Car in New Baltimore Parking Lot

Emergency responders rushed to the scene at a plaza on 23 Mile.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a car fire late Monday afternoon in New Baltimore.

Fire Chief Ken Lawfield said the driver was uninjured and the cause is not immediately known.

The incident took place in the New York Deli parking lot off 23 Mile. A heavy cloud of smoke could be seen billowing from the flames before the fire was extinguished.
