DUCKS UNLIMITED MEMBERSHIP DINNER
Where/When: Zuccaro Banquets & Catering; Thursday, April 7, 5:30 p.m.-midnight.
Why Go: Join the Macomb Lake St. Clair Chapter of Ducks Unlimited by attending the membership dinner, which includes buffet, cocktails and silent auction. The organiztion's goal is wetland and waterfowl conservation.
Pricing: $45 for the evening includes annual membership.

    WINE TASTING BENEFIT
    Where/When: Washington Street Wine House; Friday, April 8, 7-9 p.m.
    Why Go: Have a little fun sipping some vintage as you help the American Cancer Society: St. John Lutheran Church's Relay for Life team is holding a wine tasting event at Washington Street Wine House.
    Pricing: $30, includes sampling of WSWH's selections, three glasses of wine or six half-glasses, plus appetizers.

    BATTLE OF THE BANDS
    Where/When:     Macomb Center for Performing Arts; Friday, April 8, 7 p.m.
    Why Go: It's time for the 5th Annual Battle of the Bands at Macomb Community College, with a half-dozen bands fighting for musical supremacy. Cheer them on, knowing proceeds go toward student scholarships.
    Pricing: $2 in advance; $3 at the door.

    SIMPLY SINATRA
    Where/When: Macomb Center for Performing Arts; Saturday, April 9, 8 p.m.
    Why Go: If you love the music of Cole Porter, Jimmy Van Heusen, Rodgers and Hart and more, come to the Macomb Center, where Steve Lippia and his band perform a mix of music, from swing tunes to poignant ballads.
    Pricing: $37-$52.

    LYIN' DOGS ROCK THE HOUSE
    Where/When: Sugarbush Tavern; Saturday, April 9, 9:30 p.m.
    Why Go: Hear rock classics like "Brown-Eyed Girl" and "Mustang Sally" as this Commerce Township-based band takes to the stage at the 'Bush.
    Pricing: Varies.
