Hundreds of hockey fans were treated to an exciting game, and helped raise money for charity Saturday night at St. Clair Shores Civic Arena.

The Red Wings Alumni team squared off with the Team GTJ All-Stars and the outcome might have surprised some fans.

Despite former NHL stars such as Dino Ciccarelli, Jimmy Carson and Petr Klima, playing along with other former Wings greats, Team GTJ earned the victory, 8-7, scoring the winning goal with 7.6 seconds remaining in the contest.

Regardless of the outcome, the 2nd Annual GTJ Foundation hockey game was fun for fans and players, and most importantly, raised money for local charities.

This is a lot of nothing - one would expect to see Alex Delveccio, Gordie Howe, Ted
Lindsey, Terry Sawchuch, etc, etc...Who the heck set this junk up under the title: Red Wing All-Stars?
Faud ! Junk.

One would expect a Dr. to know how to spell all those names correctly. Pfft. You are most likely an ankle bender yourself.

I read the article headline as Red Wings Alumni, meaning anyone that played for the Wings could participate? Terry Sawchuk passed away in 1970 and due to health issues, Gordy Howe no longer skates. Way to go doc!
