Saginaw Puts End to LCN Basketball's State Championship Run

L'Anse Creuse North fell 59-46 to Saginaw in the Class A boys basketball state semifinal game at MSU Breslin Center today.

 

The dream of a state basketball championship has ended for the Crusaders.

Facing Saginaw in the Class A boys semifinal at MSU Breslin Center this afternoon, L'Anse Creuse North took an early lead, but was unable to overtake the Trojans in the final quarter, falling 59-46.

Saginaw will now battle Rockford for the state championship at 4 p.m. Saturday at the MSU Breslin Center.

LCN fans gave their team a standing ovation as they left the stadium and Crusader Nation continues to voice its support on Twitter.
