For the second time, several sewer drain lids were snatched from a New Baltimore construction site, police said.
Five covers, valued at approximately $1,200, were reported missing from the Family Dollar site on Green Street next to CVS. The lids were dropped off at the property Aug. 16, just days after the first set of covers were stolen, according to a police report.
The lids had been placed at the front of the construction site about 15-20 feet away from Green Street. Police are investigating the thefts.
