Local government offices, schools and libraries are closing up for Christmas 2012. Here’s a look at closures for various places in New Baltimore and Chesterfield Township.
New Baltimore
- City of New Baltimore Municipal Building: Closed Dec. 24-26.
- MacDonald Public Library: Closed Dec. 24 and 25.
Chesterfield Township
- Chesterfield Township Municipal Offices: Closed Dec. 24-26.
- Chesterfield Senior Center: Closed Dec. 24-26.
- Chesterfield Township Library: Closed Dec. 24-26.
Schools
- Anchor Bay School District: No school, Christmas break Dec. 24-Jan. 4. School resumes Jan. 7.
- L’Anse Creuse Public Schools: No school, winter recess Dec. 24-Jan. 4. School resumes Jan. 7.
Other Closures
- Rizzo Services: Garbage will not be collected on Christmas Day. Services will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week.
- Waste Management: Garbage will not be collected on Christmas Day. Services will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week.
- United States Postal Service: Post offices are closed Dec. 25. All post offices open and regular mail delivery resumes Dec. 26.
- Secretary of State: All SOS offices are closed Dec. 24 and 25.
