What's Closed on MLK Day in Chesterfield Township and New Baltimore?
Township and city municipal offices are among the places closed on the holiday.
The handcrafted anchor donated to Chesterfield Township by resident Dennis Van De Winkle can be viewed by all in the front entrance of the municipal grounds on Sugarbush.

As many Chesterfield Township and New Baltimore students bask in day off school, residents will find several places closed in commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Among them are:
- Chesterfield Township offices. The regularly scheduled Board of Trustees will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday due to the holiday. View the meeting agenda at the township website.
- U.S. Post Office in New Baltimore
MacDonald Public Library in New Baltimore will be open Monday during regular hours.
