Chesterfield Historical Society Heritage Days, Saturday & Sunday, Septermer 15 & 16, from 10:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Chesterfield Historical Village, located at 47275 Sugarbush,Chesterfield, Mich 48047. Games & crafts for the kids, blacksmithing and  real live horseshoeing demonstrations,small antique engines with draw sawing and corn grinding, Classic & antique cars includinf a 1967 GTO from Stahl's Automobile Museum ( wheater permitting). Music by Banjo Dan. There will be crafters demonstrating and selling their wares. Hot dogs, chips & pop for sale. Parking at the Chesterfield Twp Offices with a Shuttle to the bridge entrance sponsored by First State Bank, Donation of $ 1.00 for adults, $ 2.00 for a family For more info call      Roy/Eileen 586 749 3713

The Chesterfield Township Historical Society preserves historic materials, buildings, monuments, markers, sites and artifacts and publications. The society preserves the historic village wHich features a one-room school, a log cabin, a cobble/gift shop and a working blacksmith shop. The Society hosts a variety of events throughout the year such as Log Cabin Day on the last Sunday in June. It is open during the summer on the second Sunday of the month and Heritage Day in September. Also, The Chesterfield Township Historical Society maintains the Trinity Collection dedicated to the history of Chesterfield Township.
