Hilary Davis, author of the book "Images of America: Shelby Township", will discuss her book during the "Little Bit of History" program. Davis' presentation will include the history of Springhill farm, once a stop on the Underground Railroad and later purchased by the boxer Joe Louis in 1939. Davis will also explore the Clinton-Kalamazoo Canal, which was dug through the township in 1839, as well as present information on the lost city of Disco.
