You gotta be there this year!! This is one of Macomb Countiy’s BEST family-oriented festivals!  The 2012 St Mary Queen of Creation Family Festival contains dozens of children’s games, live magic shows and live performances by some of the best bands performing anywhere!!  Friday is a throw back to the 50’s and 60’s and features our great Steak Out dinner, the annual After Glow Car Show (over 100 classic cars appeared last year!) and performance by the always cool oldies band Moose and Da Sharks.  Saturday is Country Western day and includes an incredible (and inexpensive) dinner featuring Bad Brad’s pulled pork, free line dancing lessons and appearance by Annabelle Road, an up-and-coming superstar country band.  Sunday features great events for the kids including a Scooby Doo Comedy Review, an interactive performance by the Blues Brothers and performance by The Millionaires, a prolific swing and jazz band.  Sunday also features our flame-broiled rotisserie chicken dinner and our Super Raffle grand prize drawing (minimum $10,000 1^st prize).  Other festival highlights include the GREAT TASTE concessions stand, children’s Face Painting by Chantel (one of the best face painters in Michigan), silent auctions, 50/50 raffle, Country Store, Tattoos (temporary!) by Denise, beer and wine and lots of bingo!  For a full schedule of events, visit our parish website at www.stmaryqueenofcreation.com.
