Chesterfield Splash Park Grand Opening in June

The splash park opens this season inside Brandenburg Park.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for noon June 8 to unveil Chesterfield Township's splash park, according to the township.

The water attraction inside Brandenburg Park was made possible by a donation from the Webber Family Foundation. It has been dubbed by the township as the Cedar Point of Chesterfield and will include 16 fountains in the park overlooking Anchor Bay off Jefferson.

The ceremony is free and open to the public. Brandenburg Park admission will be waived during that time for attendees, township Supervisor Michael Lovelock said.
