Grab & Go Kids Planner: Rummage Sale and Seuss
Entertainment for the kids and bargain shopping top the list of things to do this week.
Where/When: Rosie O'Grady's, Wednesday, March 2, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Why Go: Celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday by stopping at Rosie's. Kids eat free with an adult food purchase of $9.99 and the restaurant always has a fun, kid-friendly guest. This time, it will be the Cat in the Hat.
Pricing: Free to meet the Cat in the Hat; kids eat free with adult dinner purchase.
Where/When: Chesterfield Township Library, Thursday, March 3, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Why Go: Kids will enjoy “Funtime–Puppet Pageantry," featuring Nancy Penvose, of Once Upon a Puppet. She'll lead a workshop for children in grades one through five, show her collection of puppets and then workshop participants can make a puppet. Registration is required.
Pricing: Free.
Where/When: Anchor Bay High School, Thursday, March 3, 6:30 p.m.
Why Go: It's a friendly competition as Anchor Bay seniors take on the teachers in a charity basketball game. All monies raised will go for scholarships. Plus, there will be raffle drawings and more.

Why Go: It's a great shopping event where you can find bargains on clothing, accessories, shoes, housewares, books, electronics, furniture and more. Plus there will be homemade baked goods for sale.
Pricing: Free entry, unless you want early-bird admission on Friday at 9:30 a.m., which costs $2.
Where/When: Lakeshore Lanes, St. Clair Shores, Sunday, March 6, 5-9 p.m.
Why Go: Vision HOPE is having its fourth-annual bowl-a-thon event to raise money for abused children. Attend and enjoy two games of bowling, pizza, pop, salad, dessert and a shot at some great prizes.
Pricing: $20 per bowler.
