Grand Pacific House Museum Holiday Open House, Candle Walk Scheduled for December

View upcoming events at the historical museum in downtown New Baltimore.

Grand Pacific House Museum will host two popular annual events this December.

Annual Holiday Open House

The open house will be held from 3-6 p.m. Dec. 9. The museum will offer tours, tea, coffee and dessert. The event is free and open to the public. The open house is on the same day as the Jingle Bell Run, also in the city's downtown. For further more information, call Judy Stucky at 586-725-5249 or Rich Gonyeau at 586-725-2770.

Annual Candlelight Walk

The candlelight walk will be held Dec. 14. The cost is $6 and includes wine, cheese, dessert and more. Museum doors open at 6:30. The walk begins at 7 p.m. Guests will be greeted by the New Baltimore Interfaith Choir on the museum steps.

"The Candlelight Walk will feature local lore and ghost stories of New Baltimore and the Anchor Bay region, including information on the most infamous haunted house and its mysterious basement, the story of Little Eagle a Native American spirit, and the Tale of the Haunted Ashes, among the more unusual stories to be shared," the museum website states.

Museum closed to public January, February

Grand Pacific House Museum is not open to the public in January or February. During that time, New Baltimore Historical Society volunteers change displays for 2013.
