Hop to Easter Egg Hunts in Chesterfield Township, New Baltimore

Families are welcome to attend these local Easter events.

Local families ready for a hopping good time can check out these Easter egg events in town.

Chesterfield Township

This township parks and recreation event is scheduled for 11 a.m. March 23 at Pollard Park. Participants must get there on time and bring a canned food donation for a local food pantry to attend the free event. They should also bring Easter baskets and cameras. Children will search for thousands of eggs and get goodie bags at the end. Call township parks and recreation at 586-949-0400 for more information.

New Baltimore

The city's Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for March 30, with activities beginning at 10:30 a.m. and the hunt at 11:30 a.m. at Maynard "Red" Aurand Memorial Park. The free event will include face-painting, crafts, popcorn, cotton candy and hot dogs. Guests should bring cameras for pictures with the Easter Bunny. Volunteers are needed. Call 586-725-0291 for more information. Pre-registration for the event is required by March 28 at the recreation center.
