How Much Snow Will Winter Storm Draco Drop on Chesterfield Township and New Baltimore?

Macomb County is expected to stay out of the direct path of Draco, receiving less than an inch of snowfall Thursday and Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

While Michigan's northern counties may see blizzard conditions as Winter Storm Draco sweeps through the Midwest, Macomb County is expected to get less than an inch between Thursday and Friday.

The National Weather Service is predicting rain Thursday, possibly turning to snow in the late evening hours. Come Friday, there is a 80 percent chance of snow for Chesterfield Township, but less than an inch is expected to accumulate.

Wind gusts could reach up to 37 mph Friday and if Thursday's late-night precipitation doesn't turn into snow, as NWS predicts, drivers could face icy streets during their morning commute.
