New Baltimore Shines in 'Discover the D' Show

Macomb County's Blue Economy initiative was instrumental in steering the television crew to New Baltimore.

Downtown New Baltimore along with its scenic view of Lake St. Clair are profiled in a television segment available online.

Discover the 'D' on PBS Public Television, which points the camera on several local establishments. Stahl's Bakery, Little Camille's by the Bay, Washington Street Wine House, Celtic Sisters Candles and Candies and Grand Pacific House Museum are on display in the program.

New Baltimore Mayor Larry Smith highlights the city as a hopeful destination place while Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel emphasizes the city's position along Lake St. Clair and boasts of lake recreation.

Really nice to see this about our city! Great to see our County Exec and our Mayor trumping the praises--doing the extra work to promote! Mark and Little Camille's are just fantastic--hustling, promoting, bringing credibility to NB----hopefully more businesses will set up shop in our fair city------Are you listening City Council?--help make our city a destination for businesses!

And to think if republicans had their way PBS would get nothing in order to give more to the oil companies. Thanks PBS for recognizing New Baltimore. I almost forgot. Republican small business owners gladly take union money. Go Unions, Go Middle Class!
