Weekend Planner: Fashion Show, Relay for Life, Health Screenings

Celebrate Mothers Day early at on Saturday. Beginning at noon, attendees will enjoy a deliciously prepared lunch and a short comedy intro. Shortly after, senior models and mother-daughter-granddaughter groups will walk down the runway showing off fashions that will be available for purchase afterwards. Tickets are $7.50 at the door, but reservations are requested.

This weekend, more than 600 participants will partake in Relay for Life New Baltimore, with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society. The event will kick off at 10 a.m. Saturday at .

Sing your heart out Friday and Saturday at in Chesterfield during Karaoke Weekends. Take the microphone at anytime during the day, free of charge.

Head down Gratiot on Friday or Saturday to Macomb Mall to participate in a no-cost health screening. Project Healthy Living, WXYZ Channel 7 and Macomb Mall are teaming up to provide you with free testing which includes checks on height and weight, blood pressure, vision testing, body composition and blood oxygen levels. The screenings will be done from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on both days.
