Winter Snow Storm Could Drop 4 to 8 Inches in New Baltimore-Chesterfield Thursday

A winter storm watch has been issued from Thursday evening through Friday morning as a storm system is expected to move across the state.

A snow day-worthy winter storm is headed for the area that could drop 4-8 inches of snow on Macomb County Thursday night.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for the county from Thursday evening through Friday morning.

There is a chance of snow before 8 a.m. Thursday, with heavier snowfall expected in the evening and throughout the night. Macomb County will likely get 3-5 inches of snow Thursday night, leaving area roads snow covered and slippery for the morning commute Friday, NWS says.
