Green Students Get Special Visitor

The School Age Child Care Students (SACC) at Green Elementary will have a special visitor June 8. At 4 p.m. their 93-year-old pen pal, Millie Petripren, will stop by to read with children and reinforce how important it is. SACC Coordinator Fran O'Donnell was the one who suggested students develop a relationship with her neighbor Petipren via letter writing.

Students in turn will present Petripren with her favorite things: flowers and ice cream, while listening to the music of Lawrence Welk.
