New Baltimore Holds Tree Lighting

Bay-Rama is extending an invitation to one and all to attend the New Baltimore tree lighting and sing-along, to be held downtown at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5.

Students from Anchor Bay Middle School's choirs, under the direction fo Deborah Root, will lead the caroling. Mayor Larry Smith will light the tree. After that Santa Claus will arrive, accompanied by the New Baltimore Fire Department, and everyone will head to the Recreation Center for hot chocolate and donut holes. And, of course, Santa will be available to hear children's wish lists.

One good way to make the "Nice" list is to bring canned food donations to the ceremony, in support of St. Mary's Pantry. Boxes will be set up so guests can drop off items to help the area needy.
