Come to downtown New Baltimore for the Lions' Smoke on the Bay Rib Off. Food will be served all day along Washington, between Main and Front streets.
Plenty is planned for the day, including:
- Music and story time with Beth Stanton (in the Farmers Market area)
- Rosco the Clown and face painting fun await youngsters
- Quilts will be on display at the Recreation Center
- Roland James and His Amazing Birds will perform at noon at the Farmers Market area
- There will be live entertainment in the tent, by the Doin' Time Band from 1-4 p.m., and The Groove performs from 5:30 p.m. until the party winds down.
- There is also a baking contest in three categories: Pies, cakes and cookies.
- And, of course, there will be ribs. Be sure to come hungry.
