Ste. Claire Voyageurs visit Chesterfield Twp.

The Chesterfield Township Historical Society will be hosting the Ste. Claire Voyageurs at the Chesterfield Historical Village in a weekend event for the public.

The event is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, and Sunday, June 12, at the Chesterfield Township Historical Village. The village is located next to the Chesterfield Township Municipal Office building located at 47275 Sugarbush, just a quarter mile north of 21 Mile Road. People may park there and walk to the village.

The historical village will be bustling with historical actors in full garb, in encampments, doing live demonstrations of how people lived during Michigan’s fur trade era and colonial times.
