Fashion Show, Music, Golf and More

Make your weekend plans with Patch.


Where/When: The Village of East Harbor; May 6, 1:30-3 p.m.
Why Go:  Seniors and area residents will model Advantage Apparel. Featuring fashionable pant sets, cardigans, shirts, sweatshirts and more, with a New York-style fashion runway, music, entertainment, food and more.
Pricing: Free. Clothing will be available for purchase after the show.


Where/When: New York New York, in the Premier Entertainment Complex; 8 p.m. May 6.
Why Go: Hear live music with Dirty Channel, Hideaway, Backstage Devil, Kyle Tyler Music, and Greenlight Graffiti taking to the stage.
Pricing: $5 for 21 and up, or $8 for ages 18-20.


Where/When: Chesterfield Township Library; 1-2 p.m. May 7.
Why Go: Explore the fundamentals of yoga with a basic one-session class at the library. You'll learn to breathe properly and how to move and stretch. Class is good for all levels, but be sure to wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat to class. (If you don't own one, a mat will be provided.)

Where/When: Salt River Golf Course; May 7, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Why Go: Hit the links and help a great cause. The New Baltimore Police Officers Association presents the Anchor Bay Community Giving Tree Golf Outing. The event raises funds for the ABCGT, which helps hundreds of families ensure they have enough to eat and a Christmas to enjoy. Planned activities include golf, contests, raffles, dinner and cash bar in the evening.
Pricing: $400 for a foursome, $100 for a single golfer, which includes 18 holes with cart, coffee, donuts, lunch, drink tickets, dinner, plus a chance at raffle prizes and more. Or, to attend the dinner only, cost is $30.


Where/When: Sugarbush Tavern; May 7, 9:30 p.m.
Why Go: Enjoy local musician Joey Vee as he brings a mix of country, pop, southern and classic rock to the Sugarbush tonight.
Pricing: No cover.
