Why Go: Join the Macomb Lake St. Clair Chapter of Ducks Unlimited by attending the membership dinner, which includes buffet, cocktails and silent auction. The organiztion's goal is wetland and waterfowl conservation.
Pricing: $45 for the evening includes annual membership.


Where/When: Washington Street Wine House; Friday, April 8, 7-9 p.m.
Why Go: Have a little fun sipping some vintage as you help the American Cancer Society: Relay for Life team is holding a wine tasting event at Washington Street Wine House.
Pricing: $30, includes sampling of WSWH's selections, three glasses of wine or six half-glasses, plus appetizers.

Why Go: It's time for the 5th Annual Battle of the Bands at Macomb Community College, with a half-dozen bands fighting for musical supremacy. Cheer them on, knowing proceeds go toward student scholarships.
