Michigan Peach Festival of Romeo Begins Thursday

The sweet event runs through Labor Day weekend.

Festival followers can get ready for a peachy time in Romeo.

The annual Michigan Peach Festival of Romeo kicks off at Thursday and spans Labor Day weekend, ending Monday night.

Among the attractions: carnival rides, specialty foods and desserts, an annual 5K/10K run, fly-in, football game, car parade, tennis tournament, softball tournament, bake sale, contests and more.
