Why Go: Indulge your creative side and learn to craft memorable cards with Lori Tipton, who will reveal some eye-opening and imaginative techniques.
Pricing: $20 to cover supplies, due the evening of the program. Registration is required (visit www.chelibrary.org), and refreshments will be served.


Where/When: Chapel of the Village of East Harbor; Friday, April 15, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Why Go: Pierre Fracalanza is a pianist/vocalist/organist who will present a Broadway-style, multi-media performance featuring Italian songs and a travelogue.

Where/When: Washington Street Wine House; Friday, April 15, 7-9 p.m.
Why Go: Enjoy some fine wine sampling, bid on silent auction items and more, all for a good cause: To benefit the first deaf/hard of hearing children's play to be performed in Michigan — Mission: Possible, by Michelle Christie-Adams, of No Limits.
Pricing: $30, which gets you three glasses of wine and appetizers.

Why Go: See Eisenhower Dane Ensemble as it celebrates "Two Decades of Dance in Detroit." The ensemble concludes its 20th anniversary season with this gala event. Enjoy seeing past and present EDE dancers in an evening of artistry and athleticism.
