Celtic Sisters Celebrate St. Patrick's Day This Week

The family-run store on Washington Street in the city's downtown is holding specials in honor of the holiday.

Celtic Sisters Candles and Candies is hoping the luck of the Irish rubs off on customers this week.

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, the store is offering discounts up until the holiday. (The store is closed Sundays throughout the winter.)

Customers will get 10 percent off green candles—with scents such as vanilla lime and kiwi strawberry—and get a chance to win more discounts in the ongoing Lucky Leprechaun Coin Toss. If customers are able to land coins inside a "pot of gold," they will be treated to additional discounts this week, said co-owner Maureen Logsdon.
