Since moving into their home 13 years ago, they kept adding to their display. Setting aside two days to set up the extension cords alone, the couple’s hard work has paid off. They’ve won a prize five years in a row in Chesterfield Township’s annual Holiday House Decorating Contest.

However, the Dowells don’t just only pay attention to their outside of their home, their inside is just as decorated, with six Christmas trees scattered about.

“I didn’t plan on as much this year,” Bob Dowell said. “But, I really enjoy it and I’m glad everyone enjoys it as much as I do.”

So, the next time you’re heading down Sugarbush Road and you see the house with five cars pulling into the driveway at once, or even just a few watching from the school parking lot next door, you know it’s the Dowell’s house; the one you just can’t miss.
