Why Go: It's the 20th Annual Chesterfield Police and Fire Golf Classic. Enjoy a day of great golf for a great cause. The day of golf includes prizes for hole-in-one, closest to the pin, longest drive and putting. Event includes dinner as well, and charities that benefit include Shop with a Cop, Thin Blue Line, The Giving Tree, Miss Chesterfield Pageant, Burn Center and the Special Olympics.

Why Go: The Lions are organizing a mouth-watering event: The Rib Off. Enjoy food, including ribs, all day long; a baking contest; face painting and clowning around; story telling; quilts on display; Roland James and His Amazing Birds and live music by the Doin' Time Band and The Groove.

Why Go: Watch the past come to life as the 15th Michigan Volunteer Infantry and the 8th Arkansas Infantry reenactors set up camp, battle, march and drill.
