Many Chesterfield Township Residents Without Power Monday Morning

Approximately 1,000 residents in Chesterfield Township do not have power, according to the DTE Energy website.

Approximately 1,000 residents in Chesterfield Township are without power Monday morning, according to the DTE Energy website.

DTE reports that 355 customers are without power in an area between 23 Mile Road and Jefferson and east of Interstate 94. Power is expected to be restored by 10 a.m., according to the website.

Another 485 customers are without power in an area north of 23 Mile and west of Salt River Golf Course.

DTE reports that another area, this one north of 23 Mile and just east of I-94, has left approximately 142 customers without power. Power is expected to be restored between 10 a.m.-noon.

Snow and icy conditions have closed schools across Macomb County, including Anchor Bay Schools, L’Anse Creuse and New Haven.
