Rep. LaFontaine Sponsors Food Drive

State Rep. Andrea LaFontaine, R-Columbus Township, is hosting a food drive to assist area families in need. The event takes place from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the All Saints Family Center in Memphis and benefits Mid City Nutrition in Port Huron. 

"Things are looking up this holiday season as the economy shows signs of improvement, but here in southeast Michigan we still have so many families in need," LaFontaine said. "By everyone doing their part, no matter how big or small, we can ensure that everyone has ample food on their table this Christmas."

All are welcome to attend. Guests are encouraged to bring donations of non-perishable food items.
