Frugal Family: Free Stroller, Movie, Meals and More

New Baltimore Patch found some great deals for movies, baby supplies and clothing. Let us know about any deals you have found around town.

Deal: During the 2011 Children’s Festival March 12-13, kids ages 12 and under can see Gulliver’s Travels for free. Adult tickets are $1 each. Showtimes are posted at the theater as well as online at www.mjrtheatres.com/loc_chesterfield.asp Or, you can call 586-598-2500. 

While you're at the theater, fill out an application to join the movie rewards' program, where members earn points for free popcorn, drinks and even tickets.

Deal: Get a free stroller (limit one, $17.99 value) when you spend $25 on any of the select baby products below with a CVS card:

• $3 Johnson & Johnson baby powder, oil, lotion, body wash, shampoo (size 13-15 ounces), oil or gel (6.5 ounces) or Desitin (2 ounces).
• $20 Huggies Snug & Dry  or little Movers Diapers 56-96 ct. 
• $20 Gerber Good Start baby formula (24-25.7 ounces).
• $4.50 Select Playtex Baby Accessories.

Couples who would like to enjoy nice meals out without incurring large costs, this is the program for you. For $25, buy a “9222 Club Card” at Louis' and you will receive one free dinner and dessert on each of your birthdays and half off both of your entrées on your wedding anniversary. 

Example: This card will pay for itself after one birthday visit if you both order a $21 House Cut Prime Rib and $6 Tiramisu dessert. 

The less expensive meal will be deducted and the special does not require use on exact date of your birthday or anniversary. Additional perks include 20 percent off bottled wine per visit. You will earn 20 points for every $1 spent, if you reach 9,222 points, you receive a free $25 gift card.
