This story does not make much sense. My child goes to AB South and was not part of the lockdown...however - this story says that the immigrants were NOT seen in the area, and why would you lockdown the middle school and not lockdown the elementary school right next door?

I'm thankful that the schools took this action, but I also have a child in the nearby high school, and last year I had a child in Ashley just across the street from Lighthouse and Middle School North. Why were they not effected by the potential threat? My family and I lived in the Northern VA area during the DC shooters' ramypage which had a direct impact on our children daily lives at sc hool. This rekindled bad memories. The security of our children is essential.

I agree with you Ron!

The same precautions were taken at Ashley, Lighthouse and Middle School North.
