The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is searching for three men accused of robbing a Harrison Township gas station and assaulting the clerk early Monday morning.

The robbery took place around 1:19 a.m. at the Speedway Gas Station at 36475 Jefferson Ave. Surveillance video obtained by the sheriff's office shows three black males entering the store and approaching the clerk. The sheriff reports that one of the men pulled out a handgun, hit the clerk in the head and threatened to shoot him.

The suspects tied the clerk’s hands and feet with zip ties before taking several cartons of cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash. The men fled the store in what the sheriff's office describes as a black SUV-type vehicle.

Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 586-307-9412.
