Burning Bag of Feces Prank Victim Has Satellite Dish Ripped Out

Information in this crime brief was provided by New Baltimore police. If arrest information applies, it does not indicate convictions.

A 31-year-old New Baltimore woman, who was recently the victim of a prank, reported to police that someone ripped her television satellite dish from the ground outside her apartment, according to a report.

At approximately 7 p.m. Jan. 19, the woman heard male voices outside her apartment in the 50000 block of Jefferson Avenue before her satellite feed was lost. She then found the dish and metal post uprooted and stretched across the sidewalk. Another person told police there were three juveniles in the area at the time, the report states.

The woman said she was especially concerned because she found a burning bag of feces on her porch two weeks prior and her previous home had been broken into in another city, police said.
