Chesterfield Dispatch to Answer New Baltimore Police Calls This Weekend

The temporary arrangement will be in place as New Baltimore police move out of the small station on Front Street and then resume operations Monday at the new building on Green.

As move operations from the cramped quarters overlooking Anchor Bay this weekend, dispatch will be answering their calls.

The migration process to the will begin Friday. During that time, calls placed to the station will automatically be forwarded to the Chesterfield Township Dispatch Center, according to New Baltimore police.

The phone lines are expected to be reactivated Monday as normal operations resume in the city. Chesterfield will only be dispatching officers for police calls and not general departmental questions.
