No one wanted to press charges, as "the subjects felt that the matter was solved with the physical fight because both proved it to their friends who witnessed it," the report states.

Parents were notified of the incident, police said.

Alleged drunken driver causes crash

A 46-year-old unidentified man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after he caused a crash on Green Street near Huntley late New Year's Day, New Baltimore police said.

No one was injured in the two-car crash around 9 p.m. Jan. 1.

The man, who drove a 2010 Jeep, admitted to side-swiping a Mercury and subsequently failed field sobriety tests. A Breathalyzer resulted in a .23% blood-alcohol level—well above the state's legal limit of .08 percent for driving, police said.

His vehicle was impounded and he was held in Macomb County Jail in lieu of a $300 bond, police said.
