Large Brush Fire on Harsens Island

Firefighters responded to an expansive brush fire Thursday evening on Harsens Island.

The St. Clair Fire Department was on the scene at the mouth of the St. Clair River in Clay Township, according to WXYZ.com

Around 5:50 p.m., the television news station and Click on Detroit showed live aerial footage while the emergency responders tried containing the blaze.
