Four New Baltimore Reserve Officers are Officially Sworn in at Monday Night's City Council Meeting
The city welcomes four new officers to the New Baltimore Police Department.
Four new police reserve officers were sworn in at the .
Officers Stephanie VanSice, John Sarcone, Sean Albrecht and Amanda Vikar each took the oath of office, as given by New Baltimore Clerk Marcia Shinska, in front of a packed room of their friends and family.
Each of the officers recently completed an 80-hour field training program at Macomb Community College.

The four reserve officers are Stephanie VanSice, John Sarcone, Sean Albrecht and Amanda Vikar.
- VanSice comes from a family of officers and is a former member of the Sterling Heights Police Department.
- Sarcone, who was born in Germany, is a 2005 graduate of Anchor Bay High School and will bring his worldly experience to the city.
- Albrecht, a native of Utica, was a deputy in the Macomb County Sheriff's Department and a reserve deputy in the mountain bike program.
- Vikar, a Chesterfield Township resident and graduate of , is a fire department first responder and was highly regarded during her police training.
The four reserve officers joined Sergeant Tom Cuthbertson and Chief Tim Wiley on Monday night.
