Man Accused of Attempting to Abduct Baby, Murder Charges Issued in Fatal Shooting and More Crime Nearby

Clinton Township 

A 25-year-old Detroit man was charged in the April shooting death of Clinton Township resident Ivan Murad, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office. 

Chesterfield Township

A 22-year-old Ray Township woman was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after she was spotted going the wrong direction on 23 Mile in Chesterfield Township, according to police. 

Grosse Pointe 

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy charged Grosse Pointe Shores Councilman Daniel Thomas Schulte with domestic violence after police reported an assault on Aug. 7 involving his wife.

Macomb Township

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of malicious destruction of property after he damaged his ex-girlfriend's car and scrawled an expletive with his blood on the vehicle's window, according to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office. 

Shelby Township

A 47-year-old native man was arraigned Monday in 41-A District Court after he allegedly tried to abduct a one-year-old child from his mother. 

St. Clair Shores

A 52-year-old Clinton Township man who police allege grabbed the purse of a 94-year-old woman in the parking lot of the CVS Pharmacy on Harper, and then dragged her alongside his car as he fled, has been arraigned on robbery charges in St. Clair Shores.
