Police Blotter: Officers Investigate Car Theft
The following information was supplied by Chesterfield Township police. Any arrest information does not indicate convictions.
Police are investigating the theft one vehicle and the attempted theft of a second vehicle within the past month from the dealership.
Det. Sgt. Deron Myers said a GMC pickup truck was stolen from the lot March 20. A suspect attempted to steal a second car before 11 p.m. April 18. Both incidents were caught on video, and Myers stated that it appeared the suspects had keys to the vehicle.
Additionally the suspects appeared to to be on the phone, possibly with an accomplice, Myers said.
