Prescription Drug Collection Launches in New Baltimore

The public is invited to drop off unused prescription drugs at New Baltimore Police Department on Green Street.

The New Baltimore Police Department and the Bay Haven Prevention Coalition have teamed up with the Drug Enforcement Administration in providing a Year-Round Permanent Prescription Drug Take-Back Collection Center to serve the citizens and visitors of the Bay Area. 

The Kick-off event is planned from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 27 at the New Baltimore Police Department. The event will take place on the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

The public is invited to stop by anytime, day or night, to drop off any unused prescription drugs. No sharps or liquids are allowed.

The department’s permanent Prescription Drug Collection Center is located in the front lobby, which is open to the public 24/7, 365 days a year.
