Chesterfield Township police received multiple 911 calls about 8:45 a.m. Thursday from residents of the Carriage Way mobile home park at 24 Mile and Gratoit, all reporting gunshots in the area. One of the callers reported seeing a green Pontiac Grand Am speeding from the front of a home in the  52200 block of Lexington Lane.

When officers responded and talked to the  39-year-old man who lives there, he pointed fresh bullet holes in his Ford Escape that had been parked in the driveway. Because he was sleeping at the time, he didn’t see who was responsible, but told police he thought it was Vanover, his ex-girlfriend. He said she drives a green Grand Am and owns a handgun.
