23 Mile and Jefferson Named Most Dangerous Intersection in New Baltimore

Check out SEMCOG's list of the top 10 most dangerous intersections in New Baltimore.

The 23 Mile Road and Jefferson intersection had the highest volume of crashes during a five-year period in New Baltimore, according to the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments' data from 2007-11.

The annual average for that intersection was nearly 14 crashes, with the Green Street and County Line intersection rated second with about 11. The third highest-frequency crash intersection in New Baltimore is Green and Washington streets, with 10. Birch Street and 23 Mile came in fourth with an average of about 6, the statistics show.
