Homecoming for Selfridge Airmen

Airmen from the 127th Air Refueling Group returned to Selfridge Air National Guard Base after a monthlong deployment.

Airmen of the 127th Air Refueling Group returned home to Selfridge Air National Guard Base on Tuesday after a month’s deployment in the Pacific Command Area of Responsibility, according to a press release.

About 60 airmen, including some from bases in Guam and Alaska, operated KC-135 Stratotankers during the deployment.

Approximately another dozen airmen from the 127th Air Refueling Group are still deployed to the Central Command Area of Responsibility. They are part of a rolling mobilization unit that could run at least through the year, according to the release.
