Occupation: Personal Property Tax Collector for Macomb County Treasurer's Office

What position are you running for: Chesterfield Township Treasurer

If reelected the first time, what specifically would you like to see done during your term? I would like to see the township website be more interactive, to provide more information about services at the local, county and state level. I would also like to look into providing more convenient hours during the tax season.

What do you think the community's biggest challenges are and how can the community overcome them? I feel it is important to establish a positive relationship with the residents and businesses. Without open lines of communication and the support of the community we cannot move forward.

How would you propose making the police and fire funds financially stable?

and are vital services to any community and should be treated as such. But, like any department within the community, you always need to be looking for ways to stay above water. We need to develop a systematic process to streamline and build collaboration of services to save costs and preserve services.

How would you make changes, if any, to community services?

The residents of Chesterfield Township deserve leadership with accountability and accessibility. I want each resident to feel like they can come into the and receive the exceptional service they deserve. The township staff--as well as the elected township board--should be available to assist the public in any way possible.
